Americans Are Getting Stupid May 26, 2008

The Transportation Security Administration is as hated as the Internal Revenue Service. This is funny. Americans like to complain about their rights being violated at airports, yet are perfectly fine with surrendering their rights to battle a fictional problem (man-made global warming). Americans are getting stupid. When a fraud like Al Gore can receive a Nobel Peace Prize for distributing propaganda, how can one be surprised that American IQs are shrinking?

The following comments are responses to the YouTube video TSA Gangstaz. They are hilarious.

FYI: TSA Gangstaz is obscene.

iamheuno:

…TSA and homeland security are early versions of a modern day Nazi control system and you no longer have your rights. You and your property are subject to random searches I don’t care what the Constitution says. You will lay down to the growing police state, you will be controlled.

The last thing I or anyone else needs is the government doing anything to “keep me safe”. How f*****n hard is it to understand the difference between freedom and control? When was the last time you did some reading or thinking. Tell me how many knives and you steal. And tell me why you think it’s ok to steal peoples private property, I guess that’s freedom. If you don’t want to think and understand what freedom and the Constitution are then being a low grade dip s**t tsa is just your thing.

GryphonsClaw:

So, TSA going through your bags is not violating any rights; illegal search? The fact you get on a list and have no right to know why you are on the list. Therefore, every time you fly you are pulled out of line and questioned. Wait until you get on one of those lists. Maybe you will miss a flight because of that. Maybe the TSA should start searching traffic on the way into work in the morning since you don’t have a right to free travel? We could have prevented OK City if they had done that.

JodasPinkt:

… why does the TSA do stupid bull***t like making people to remove piercings? Or that moronic 4oz of fluid thing? Or destroying people’s electronic media? And let’s not even get started on the rampant molestation and voyeurism that is inherent to that job.

Sorry, if you work for the TSA, then you ARE a mindless thug, an agent of the police-state.

You seem VERY proud of filing a police report on some girl that probably didn’t do anything wrong. That says a lot about you as a person.

It’s ironic; seven years ago, Americans were afraid to fly because of hostile Arabs who work for terrorist groups. Now they’re afraid to fly because of hostile Americans who work for their own government. BIG improvement.

Seriously—I will NEVER fly in America now.

When I did it back in 2000, it was awesome. Flashed my birth certificate at the guards, walked on by. No passports, no scans, no bullshit.

AmericanCupCake:

I work at a major airport and found that a lot of the TSA workers are miserable, anal and very cantankerous people. But this takes the cake. You really get to see for yourself, on this video clip, what those crooks are really about, lol. Thank God whoever came up with this one. Let the truth keep being told.

alkedda:

… most TSA employees are not white. They’re usually ghetto thugs that have no clue what they’re looking for or at.

hamieone:

TSA is a great program. It takes bums and highly uneducated people off the street and gives them just enough authority to make a lot of people’s lives miserable. Talk about a waste of government money. Thousands standing around is about right.

georgeclark3000:

I for a fact know the TSA is filled with idiots and losers. Just about the biggest waste of our tax money ever. They dont have the brains to be ashamed of themselves.

feet77:

My one and only trip to America - I watched a TSA “Employee” pick her nose as a gun scrolled past in the x-ray machine. If it hadn’t been for a passenger tapping on the glass, she would have missed it. The next 9/11 will happen when somebody walks up to a baggage handler making $4.99 an hour and hands him a briefcase full with $250,000 in it. Minimum wage is the biggest security threat in America today.

johnbbbs:

The public is being trained to meekly accept random, pointless, irrational, unjustified, searches of their persons and property. This is Slave Training, hence: TSA Training SLAVES Administration. Do “TSAers” LOOK like they expect the next bag they open to explode in their faces, or violence of ANY type? NO. They know it is all a FARCE, but they don’t have enough self-respect/esteem to care that the “job” they do is just theatrics to cover the real purpose.

DefiantEagle:

Get a grip. The TSA isn’t preventing anything because the US gov’t carried out 9/11. TSA is preparing everyone for the police state. That’s why when DHS conducted a drill of suspicious materials through airports the TSA missed 80% of them. But no bottle water made it onboard.

marsgary:

I am glad TSA keeps flammable water out of airplanes. We need to get water out of our buildings lest we forget the lessons of 911. I think it was explosive water in the plumbing that brought down WTC 7.

drumblebumm:

They’re criminals, pure and simple. Perverted, thieving, anti-social jackasses. If they don’t want to be thought of like that, then they need to find another line of work…preferably something useful.

Americans put GW Bush in the White House. How is that for stupidity?

2. gasdocpol - May 26, 2008

A. How likely would it be for terrorists to pull off another 9/11 hijacking, given our knowedge of what happened last time, cockpit doors no longer pentetrable, possibility of air marshalls on flights ,etc?

B. Even with the present searching , it would be possible to bring lethal blades (metal or otherwise) incorporated into carry on bags or computers and undetectable to x-ray.

C. The airport proceedures as useless as they are will continue because no one would take the responsibility for discontinuing them . people cover their butts. Meanwhile container ships are bringing in tons of unscreened material daily.

Yes sir you nailed it!

Driving cars is what Americans do.
Driving cars is a symbol and a reality of our freedom.
Driving cars is a reflection of American ingenuity and indiviudalism.

HOV lanes don’t work!
HOV lanes cause me to get Zero miles to the gallon when I am stuck in traffic.
HOV lanes are governments attempt to control the common people.

“Light” rail costs billions.
“Light” rail takes $ away from building more lanes and getting better MPG.
“Light” rail is big governments way to control the common people.

“LIght” rail is collectivist training,
“Packed like lemmings into Mass Transit Reeducation Boxes”
Cars are independence reinforcement.

God Bless/Help this nation!

gasdocpol,

I thought W stole the election with help from his Florida buddies, including his brother.

On to TSA:

A. The possibility of a hijacking has diminished due to the reasons you stated, but terrorists do not need to hijack a plane. I bet they are not even thinking about hijacking as a viable option anymore. Suicide bombing is the name of the game now. Your first point is useless.

B. Traditional weapons like blades are only relevant to a hijacking.

C. Airport screening will continue because no one wants planes to drop out of the sky, which would happen. Any politician who suggests discontinuing federal airport screening will need a psych evaluation.

All the complainers should just rent a car and hit the road if they do not like the screening procedures. I have flown only one since 9/11, so I do not have to deal with it, but I do not see the process as a personal invasion.

Peak 9

1. Gore ran a lousy campaign
2. Nader took votes from Gore
3.People were confused by the ballot ,intending to vote for Gore but voted for Buchanan in a district where he never should have gotten that many votes. Buchannan was the first to notice.
4. We will never know if Gore would have won because the Supreme Court stopped the count.

5. Bush won in 2004

We spend a lot of effort trying to prevent plane hijacking which you admit is unlikely but little or no effort screening container ships.

6. peak9 - May 26, 2008

Voting for Bush was not stupidity for Americans. Succumbing to the media’s incessant drumbeat of negativity has been the stupidity. How can one be confused about a ballot? This is an excuse. It is all water under the bridge anyway.

You are correct. Container ships are getting a pass. If every container coming into this country were screened, everything we buy would triple or quadruple in price at a minimum. Americans would just blame Bush instead of the need to keep nukes out of the wrong hands. You are damned if you do and damned if you don’t, unless you are Barack Obama.

7. coloradokiwi - May 26, 2008

I fail to see how light rail is as you see it, Rigg: it reduces congestion, it’s more efficient, and for a lot of people it’s much less of a hassle than driving. It wouldn’t cost so much money if cities hadn’t ripped out their extensive tram and rail lines to start with.

Once we switch to no-emission fuels like hydrogen, I have no problem with cars. Until then however (leaving aside the greenhouse gas issue for now), they are a primary source for ozone and various other pollutants. Why should me and mine have to breathe polluted air for your “freedom”?

8. peak9 - May 27, 2008

I like rail. The infrastructure is not there for it to be utilized across America at a macro and micro level.

9. tazdog - May 29, 2008

I would say light rail or rail in general will only work in the appropriate areas of the counrty.
Now we can worry about TSA and hijackers, but if our own ATC (Air Traffic Controllers) can get things right and wake up, they will just crash us into each other and won’t have to worry about hijackers, lol….

Wont that be something one day when a ship brings a nuke on to our soil undetected, just like that one movie, “Sum of all Fears” I believe that was the one…

Wait, maybe one is already here :|
