Joe Francis Calls Himself “a god” July 14, 2008

Joe Francis, the proprietor of the soft-core porno Girls Gone Wild series, is a little Ted Turner in the making. In the April, 2008 edition of GQ magazine, Francis declared himself to be a god:
Nothing will ever happen to me in jail. I’m a god. I’m the cool Girls Gone Wild guy. I’m revered. I’m a rock star… The one thing I fear is one of these #$%&ing people showing up at my house. I’m a different class. They’re dumb. They’re the people you see on Cops. Those are the people you see in jail.
Obviously, Francis does not realize that intelligence is not required to pull a trigger on a 12-banger. His insolence toward his fellow jail mates shows just how jaded he his. His perverse dynasty has become irrelevant.

Redefining Homophobia July 9, 2008

One of the battle tactics used by the secularists in America has been to redefine words, giving them new meanings meant to label the enemy (the traditionalists/conservatives) as oppressive, prejudice, divisive, archaic, stagnant, and judgmental. I have been called a homophobe numerous times by bloggers here and in other forums. This is so absurd it is funny. What does homophobia really mean? This is what Merriam-Webster has to say about it:
ho·mo·pho·bia
Pronunciation:
\ˌhō-mə-ˈfō-bē-ə\
Function:
noun
Date:
1969
: irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals
— ho·mo·pho·bic \-ˈfō-bik\ adjective
This is how the Planned Parenthood site teenwire.com defines homophobia in response to user a question:
What is homophobia and what are the symptoms?
bexter345 (11.23.05)
The Answer:
Dear bexter345,
Homophobia isn’t a disease — it is a form of prejudice. Homophobia is the fear and hatred of people who are — or who appear to be — lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, or questioning (LGBTQ). It is caused by ignorance, misinformation, or lack of understanding about LGBTQ people are really like.
Being different from society’s sexual norms can be very difficult in our culture. Most people who are homophobic are worried about their own sexuality and project that fear on others. It is important to accept people, and ourselves, for being who we are.
Did you notice the difference? The dictionary rightly points out that homophobia is a discrimination and aversion based on sexual preference. Planned Parenthood goes a step future by conflating homophobia with hatred spawned by a lack of knowledge regarding homosexuals. In some cases criticism comes from ignorance, but most of the time it comes from a clear understanding of right and wrong—a concept that is fading fast.
Redefining words is the only way to bring normality to an otherwise abnormal and perverse lifestyle. It is a battle plan. As far as I am concerned, the word “homophobia” does not exist. It is a product of an overly politically correct society that has lost any sense of absolutes. I am telling you right now that humanity is not far away from “molestophobia.” When people criticize child molesters down the road are you going to say it is out of hatred and fear of one’s own desire to rape children? Are you going to call Christians names for speaking out against this moral travesty? After all, child molesters have rights too. Maybe they were born to love children. Are you going to deny their fundamental right to have sex with your child? Sounds unimaginable doesn’t it. Not to someone who sees the larger picture.
Craigslist Promotes Adultery July 9, 2008

In addition to hosting prostitution solicitations, Craigslist.org also promotes adultery. Here are some of the outrageous and PG rated personal ads specifically targeting sex with married and/or by married individuals:
- married male seeking married female seeking discreet relations
- married man looking for a married woman today!!
- married couple looking for a playmate
- married but looking
- married women need love too!!
- married with permission
- seeking married redhead
- married with herpes (What?)
- seeking first-time affair
- wife looking for a woman for her husband…NO JOKE!
- it’s my husband’s turn
- married gentleman in miami for business
- i want a married couple
- married black woman wanted
- seeking housewife for daytime fun
These ads are overwhelmingly placed by married men and not always with heterosexual intentions. The ads placed by women are overwhelmingly looking to bring extra bodies into the marriage bed. All these ads, and I will say that these ads are mild compared to most posted, are prototypical of a human race in decline. We live in a pornographic culture and are now demanding a pornographic life. I do not expect anything less from a service based in San Francisco, the most morally corrupt city in America.

I saw this over at Rock For Life Blog and had to share it. You can read about the UN’s condom giveaway here. Just remember, Al Gore blamed the cyclone on global warming. What causes global warming? Overpopulation. What do condoms do? Exactly. These condoms are a courtesy of the UN Population Fund. In the midst of a human tragedy, the Marxists (yes, I used it again) over at the irrelevant United Nations are more concerned about the desperate and hungry people of Myanmar increasing the world’s carbon footprint. The UN should be kicked out of America.

Latinas And Teen Pregnancy May 12, 2008

There are some startling new statistics regarding latina teens. The following comes from the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy:
- 51% of Latina teens get pregnant at least once
before age 20—nearly twice the national average. - Latinas have had the highest teen birth rate of any
major ethnic/racial minority in the country since 1995. - Latina teen birth rates have declined about half as fast
as non-Hispanic white and non-Hispanic black teens.
In fact, teen birth rates have actually
increased in 16 states and the District of Columbia. - The Latino population is the largest and fastest growing
minority group in the United States—by 2025, one quarter
of all teens will be Latino. Clearly whatever
goes on among Latino teens not only affects the Latino
community, but also has an extraordinary impact on the
nation as a whole.
This last statement is telling. Hispanics may one day outnumber all races in America if current birth rate trends continue. A high teen pregnancy rate among any race, but particularly one that is projected to be in the majority, has negative implications for everyone. I do not know if sex-at-fifteen is a cultural thing or if it is the result of rampant secularism (MTV, music, magazines, fashion, movies, commercials, etc.). It is more likely a mixture of both.
Many of these teen girls end up giving birth to multiple children with multiple fathers, virtually guaranteeing the long term need for social services like Medicaid and food stamps. This is a problem as evidenced by a February 6, 2007 article from The Arizona Republic:
Latina teens are 3 1/2 times more likely than Anglo teens to become pregnant in Arizona and are about one-third more likely to get pregnant than Hispanics nationwide.
This has helped keep Arizona’s teen pregnancy rate one of the highest in the nation. And Arizona taxpayers are increasingly picking up the tab: 82 percent of all teen births in 2005 were paid for by the state’s Medicaid program, up from 71 percent a decade earlier. The National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy estimates that Arizona taxpayers spent $268 million in 2004 for costs related to teen pregnancy, ranging from health care to welfare to lost income taxes.
According to an October 30, 2007 Newsweek article by Sarah Elkins, latinas “attend ’skipping parties’—as in skipping school—where they shed their inhibitions with the help of alcohol, pot and other drugs and hook up (have sex) with guys who are usually older than they are.” Elkins goes on to point out that, culturally, latinas are taught about “chastity and demureness,” while their male counterparts are more likely to be taught about “virility and conquest.”
Why, then, do these girls have sex at age 13 if they are raised to know better? The Arizona Republic article above points out that “Parents are busy adjusting to a new country, language and culture; they often work several jobs, while their kids are immersed in American teen culture, entrenched in sexy clothes, sexy music and sexy images on TV.” At some point, a disconnect between parent and child forms. This disconnect needs to be fixed fast judging by what Marisa Treviño tells us at the blog Latina Lista:
A friend recently told me that her daughter, who attends a majority-Latino, public middle school (6th, 7th and 8th grades) in Dallas, Texas, told her that there were 26 girls pregnant at her school. She routinely has 1-3 girls, at minimum, in her classes who are pregnant. But what is equally shocking is that her daughter said that the girls sit around and talk about how they ‘planned their pregnancies.’ It’s comprehensible that girls would plan for sex since sex is equated with sexiness and attractiveness and is so overtly glamorized in music videos and movies. There’s no pre-teen or teenage girl who doesn’t want to feel attractive and wanted by boys, but the idea that a fat belly is equally a turn-on is just a plain mystery.
In other words, being pregnant is fashionable. I approach this travesty from a layman’s perspective and cannot offer anything but a common sense approach. Articles like Elkins’ and Treviño’s offer better insight into the cultural reasons behind higher latina teen pregnancy rates. Treviño gives us the most culturally relevant and common sense statement about all of this:
All of these are scenarios that play a part in teens getting pregnant, but one other scenario that has never really been discussed is that some teens who get pregnant are continuing a family cycle — they see it as a tradition. Mom got pregnant young, dropped out of school, had more kids, worked dead-end jobs, never thought about school again. Daughter follows mom’s footstep.
This tradition has to end.

Next week (05.12-05.15), Vh1 will glorify the sexual revolution. The 4-part documentary will begin with the “rigid” and “frigid” 1950s and proceeds through four decades of Hugh Hefner, Larry Flynt, birth control, free speech, “free love,” female objectification, pornography, feminism, taboos, androgyny, Deep Throat, moral crusaders, public sex, capitalism, Hollywood, homosexuality, STDs, and AIDS. Here is the summary from the official press release:
‘Sex: The Revolution‘ frankly examines a colorful and controversial chapter of modern American history, when individuals and events coalesced to challenge the moral orthodoxy surrounding sex and sexual behavior. Eros moved from the shadows into the sphere of public discussion, as people sought to eradicate sexual ignorance, fear and loathing. Activism took root and laws were changed; traditional institutions and gender roles were questioned; pleasure was had, and so was profit. And as with any revolution, there were counter-forces seeking a return to the status quo.
Now that the status quo is sex-all-the-time with anyone and anywhere, what is next? Beastiality? Sex with robots? Sex with machines? The latter already is commonplace. We already know the sexual revolution failed to liberate anyone. It just gave us AIDS, abortions for profit, and commodified sex. Glorifying this baby boomer debacle is moronic.

The following comes from the Cathedral of Hope wedsite and is referenced to The Center for Progressive Christianity. Are these 8 points conducive to saving faith? What does the word “progressive” indicate? Does this list represent apostasy?
The 8 Points of Progressive Christianity. Christians who:
- Have found an approach to God through the life and teachings of Jesus.
- Recognize the faithfulness of other people who have other names for the way to God’s realm, and acknowledge that their ways are true for them, as our ways are true for us.
- Understand the sharing of bread and wine in Jesus’ name to be a representation of an ancient vision of God’s feast for all peoples.
- Invite all people to participate in our community and worship life without insisting that they become like us in order to be acceptable (including but not limited to): believers and agnostics, conventional Christians and questioning skeptics, women and men, those of all sexual orientations and gender identities, those of all races and cultures, those of all classes and abilities, those who hope for a better world and those who have lost hope.
- Know that the way we behave toward one another and toward other people is the fullest expression of what we believe.
- Find more grace in the search for understanding than we do in dogmatic certainty - more value in questioning than in absolutes.
- Form ourselves into communities dedicated to equipping one another for the work we feel called to do: striving for peace and justice among all people, protecting and restoring the integrity of all God’s creation, and bringing hope to those Jesus called the least of his sisters and brothers.
- Recognize that being followers of Jesus is costly, and entails selfless love, conscientious resistance to evil, and renunciation of privilege.
For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
2 Timothy 4:3 (NIV)

Here is some t-shirt goodness courtesy of CafePress.com—Barack moving in for the kill. What is he whispering in Michelle’s ear? Here are some possibilities:
- “Michelle, you can be proud of America now that I’m running for president.”
- “America’s so stupid. All I have to do is say “change” and “hope” and they fall down on their knees in ecstasy. You like ecstasy, don’t you?”
- “You’re married to a god.”
- “You’ll be the sexiest First Lady ever. You’re so HOT.”
- “You need this Hussein, don’t you?”
- “You’re the mamma of this Obama.”
- “Do you want to Barack ‘N’ Roll?”
- “Yes we can, baby.”
We can only speculate what he is really saying. She seems to be enjoying whatever he is doing. Get the foreplay shirt here.

The Only Sin Is To Believe In Sin February 20, 2008

One of my favorite authors, Peter Kreeft, once said that modernity’s only sin is the belief in sin. Sin is modernity’s four letter word. We do not want to confront it, and anyone who does, is called a hypocrite suffering from plankeye syndrome. Even worse, Christians cannibalize each other for confronting the sin that exists in our culture.
If we deny sin, which is to deny God, we are free to make our own rules. If we can make our own rules, we are free to change them. Absolutes no longer exist. Sin has no meaning. Some say, “I don’t need God because I am a good and moral person.” You may be “good” and you may be “moral” by the standards of this world, but you are still a sinner and the only way out of your sin is through Jesus Christ.
Satan has funneled many lies into the world, but none are more destructive than the belief that sin is relative and that we don’t need Jesus nor God to escape it. The modern man thinks that one man’s good is just another man’s evil. If this is true, which it is not, there is no evil and thus no real sin.
The modern man does not need to be “saved” because there is nothing to be saved from. He just has to be “good” person, helping out his fellow man by giving some money to charities and AIDS relief in Africa. Maybe he builds some pink 2 x 4 houses in New Orleans without realizing the real reason Hurricane Katrina happened—rampant immorality with a big F-bomb to God (Isaiah 60:12).
Sin is the cause of every problem facing the world. Unless humans address each problem from this perspective, everything we do is merely a band-aid and a temporary fix. We are just cutting the leaves off the weeds instead of pulling them out by the roots. If we do not confront sin the way Jesus did (John 4:1-26, Matthew 27:45-50), and/or worse, we just deny sin is a problem, we end up with 11-year-old boys soliciting girls for sex, 14-year old girls prostituting themselves for Big Macs, and perverts dying while having sex at beastiality bordellos.

Quote of the Week | 01.27.08
This quote is disturbing in its reflection on the lifestyles considered normal in Ibiza, Spain. It is evidence of human and cultural decay. It is also a glimpse of the future—unhibited and legal public nudity and sex. This is only one of the debased activities brought to life by George Curley in the April 2007 Vanity Fair.
On another afternoon, a boat anchors a hundred yards from a popular beach, in full view of the sunbathing families. On deck an attractive woman strips, which is nothing new, but then she pulls the swimming trunks off her boyfriend and starts performing felatio. Next she gets on top of him, and after the couple finish they dive into the sea. More applause. It’s the same attitude everywhere you go on this tiny, outrageously beautiful island…
George Curley, “Ibiza” (Vanity Fair 4/07)
